Lectio Divina – 1 Corinthians 15

Lectio Divina – 1 Corinthians 15

Jesus resurrection is also the first fruit of the resurrection of all those who believe. Does this truth offer you hope in a year of grief and loss of even the life of those we have loved?

Flesh and blood will not inherit the Kingdom of God. What ways of the flesh, sin, are you being invited to put down to step into the life of the Kingdom of God, true life? What ways of blood, your own striving and effort, are you being invited to rest from and invite the Holy Spirit in?

When mortal will be clothed in immortality we will be able to say death has lost its sting. This journey of transformation is definitely about our final resurrection and it is also about our daily surrender to Jesus and daily taking on (wearing) of his ways while placing down our way and the way of our culture. How is God inviting you to clothe yourself in Jesus way?
