Don’t Quiet The Praise – Palm Sunday Celebration

Don’t quiet the praise when you find yourself in the middle of your changed life and not so changed life. Don’t quiet the praise when you find yourself in the middle of the freedom God has given you and feeling not so free or even being persecuted. Don’t quiet the praise when the patterns of your mind still do not reflect the mind of Christ. Do not quiet the praise when shame is trying to steal your identity as a child of God. Let praising God in difficult times produce hope in you. Let hope coming from trusting a faithful God produce joy in you. And let Joy produce in your patience as you are being transformed to bear the glory of Jesus. As we walk into Holy Week, we will see Jesus constantly aware of his suffering and even lamenting but never ceasing to praise the father.
