If we boldly step into community and open ourselves up to people, we will find ourselves in conflict. It is important in our journey of discipleship and becoming like Jesus that we both call people out and be called out. We all get a turn at being the offender and when we are made aware of it we cannot and should not ignore it. Jesus invites us to go make things right, and it is not business as usual until you have. Whether or not the offence is real or imagined. If a friend is hurt, it matters to God and it should matter to us too.
