The Glory of God is people fully alive. Yet whatever the length of time we have followed Jesus, it is easy to get to a point where, if not careful, our hearts atrophy and we can no longer hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.
One of the ways to keep our hearts alive and attentive to the Holy Spirit is by being present to the realities of our lives and bringing them into conversation with Jesus.
The extent to which you are present to the realities of your life and talking to Jesus about them is the extent to which your heart is alive and the extent of your intimacy with Jesus.
